Xiaomi Book 14 is a laptop that has made its debut on international markets. The computer was first introduced to the offer in the Middle Kingdom. The price is not yet known, but we know how much this device costs in China. Let’s see what the price and technical specifications of the machine look like.
14-inch 2.8K screen
Xiaomi Book 14 is a rebranded RedmiBook 14 from China. The laptop has the same 14-inch screen with a resolution of 2.8K. The display is able to present an image at a frequency of up to 120 Hz and has certificates from TÜV Rheinland and SGS. In addition, it offers 100% coverage with the sRGB palette and a brightness of up to 300 nits.
Intel Core 12th generation processors
The Xiaomi Book 14 is powered by one of the 12th generation Intel Core processors. These are not the newest systems, but they still offer quite high performance. The basic hardware configuration includes a Core i3-1220P chip. The more expensive configuration includes a Core i5-12500H CPU with Xe graphics. The systems are supported by 8 or 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and data is stored on PCIe 4.0 SSDs with a capacity of 256 or 512 GB.
Xiaomi Book 14 price should be attractive
The price of Xiaomi Book 14 on the European market is not yet known. The manufacturer’s website does not provide such information. We know that the RedmiBook 14 with a Core i5 processor costs the equivalent of around PLN 2.2 thousand. In Poland, we will pay more and it will probably be around PLN 3 thousand. However, we will have to wait for details related to the exact prices.
Battery for a dozen or so hours of work
The energy in the Xiaomi Book 14 laptop is supplied by a 56 Wh battery. According to the manufacturer’s declaration, one battery charge provides up to 11.7 hours (in the model with Core i5) of video playback. One battery charge to 50% takes 35 minutes thanks to the use of fast chargers.
Rich set of interfaces and speakers with Dolby Atmos
Xiaomi Book 14 also has many interfaces, including Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6 and HDMI 2.1, USB C, 3.5 mm audio and three USB A connectors. It is also worth mentioning the 2 × 2 W stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos surround sound. The whole thing works under the control of the Windows 11 Home operating system.
